Counter Force: Decolonizing Violence + Embodied Practices of Protection

  • Grand Street Healing Project 105 Grand Street Brooklyn, NY, 11249 United States (map)

COUNTER FORCE is a transformative QT/Cis BIPOC Wom*n only in-person space where we embark on a journey of decolonizing violence and honoring the sacred.

Guided by social activists, healing justice worker, and community healer JL Umipig this resistance training for the body, mind, and spirit invites you to explore dismantling oppressive systems and reconnecting with our shared ancestral + collective power and force.

We will come together to nurture resilience, address ancestral wounds, and cultivate a sense of solidarity through reflection, mindful movement, embodied healing practices, sharing and holistic tending in challenging times- that will make way for the vigilance and fortification needed to protect and defend ourselves and our communities.

We seek to gather QT/Cis BIPOC Wom*n to be attuned and exchange in knowledge of the body, mind and spirit in connection to a coming revolution that echoes the revolutions fought by our ancestors for our continued existence and reclamation of liberation Through these sharings we will seek to gather the lessons of ancestral Warriorship.

Please join us in this essential work of liberation and regenerative collective healing.
