Carriage House Birth Foundation Postpartum Doula Training

The Carriage House Birth Foundation Postpartum Doula Training is for
people looking to serve families beyond birth in the energy of
non-judgement. The sister training to CHB’s Foundation Birth Training,
this immersive program teaches participants everything from newborn
care to understanding and supporting the psycho spiritual shifts that
occur as both babies and parents are born. From bone broth and belly
binding to multiples care and overnight work, we dive into the
practical tools you need while underpinning everything with the
essential soft skills of holding space, deep listening and maintaining
your own self care. This course acknowledges the current paradigm of
birth and postpartum and it’s space in intersectional feminism.

More than just a ‘talking training’ this deeply engaging instruction
will include exercises, crafts, role play and other hands on
activities to steep the participants in a learning climate that
prepares them for immediate work upon completion. Whether you are a
birth doula looking to enrich your existing work or feeling called
specifically to support families after birth, this training will
inspire and excite you about the profound impact of postpartum
support.
